Bazaar Flipping: How It Actually Works
Hypixel SkyBlock guide · cross-checked against the wiki and top creator guides · updated August 2026
Bazaar flipping is placing buy orders below market and sell offers above, pocketing the spread. It is real money with almost no gear requirement — but it is competitive, semi-active, and easy to do wrong.
The mechanics
- Instant-buy/instant-sell pay the spread; orders earn it. Flippers only use orders.
- Your order competes in a queue — others will outbid you by 0.1 coins, so flips need re-listing attention.
- Bazaar tax takes a cut of sales; thin spreads can be net losses after tax.
Picking flips
- Look for a healthy spread AND real volume — a huge spread on a dead item never fills.
- Mid-demand crafting materials are the classic lane: constant buyers, constant sellers.
- Event windows shift demand hard (Diana, Fishing Festival, updates) — prices move, flippers profit from the transitions.
Realistic expectations: flipping scales with capital and attention. Millions/hour is possible with big capital actively managed; small-capital passive orders earn far less. There is no fixed coins/hour — the market sets it daily. Ask the AI for live prices on any item before committing capital.
FAQ
Is bazaar flipping against the rules?
No — order trading is an intended mechanic. Automating it with macros is bannable.
How much capital do I need?
You can start with a few hundred thousand, but flipping becomes meaningfully profitable in the tens-of-millions capital range.
