Foraging went from meme skill to real money with the Foraging update: new islands, Foraging going past 50, and log economies worth farming. It is also the single best zero-investment money maker for new players.

The money streams

• Log selling — enchanted logs move steadily on the bazaar; higher foraging areas drop more valuable wood.
• New-island loot — the updated foraging islands (including the newer Torrhus Canyon content) add drop tables beyond raw wood; because this content is new, prices swing hard — check live prices before committing hours.

Scaling it up

Foraging money scales with your axe, foraging level and wisdom setup. Treat the first hours as skill leveling that happens to pay, then re-evaluate which island/log is best money at your level — the meta here shifts with the market more than most skills because the update is recent.
