Dungeon Gear by Floor: What to Wear, When

Dungeon gear has clear breakpoints — the floors below tell you when to buy what, so you never overpay early or under-gear late.

Early floors (F1-F4)

Run what you have; dragon-tier armor and a solid mid-game weapon clear these. Focus on learning puzzles, secrets and score — Cata levels matter more than gear here. Tanks can fall back on Super Heavy armor; tank adds a Bone Necklace.

Floor 5 — the first big unlock

• Shadow Assassin armor + Golden Head for melee classes.
• Berserker: Livid Dagger (budget, strong) or Shadow Fury (OP but pricey).
• Archer: Juju Shortbow — but it needs Ender Slayer 5, do not rush it before the requirement.

Floor 6-7

• F7 introduces the Necron ecosystem: Necron's armor (Power Wither set) becomes the melee standard once you can fund it — check live per-piece prices before buying (the AI quotes current BINs).
• Storm (mage), Goldor (tank) and Maxor (speed/archer) fill the other class slots from the same Wither armor family.

When you run F7/early Master Mode consistently — before that, Shadow Assassin value is unbeatable.
