Master Mode is the same floors with sharply higher damage, HP and score standards — gear and class play that carried normal F7 gets punished in M-floors. Here is what actually changes and how to be ready.

What changes in Master Mode

• Mob damage spikes — survivability stats and dodging matter again even for DPS classes.
• Score thresholds are less forgiving; secrets and speed still rule S+ runs.
• Rewards scale up: master stars for gear, better essence, and M7's jackpot drop table.

Readiness checklist

• Comfortable S+ on normal F7 with your class.
• Wither armor set appropriate to your class (Necron/Storm/Goldor/Maxor) with real reforges and enchants.
• Class-specific weapon line matured (e.g. Terminator-line for archer, Hyperion for mage).
• Party you trust — Master Mode punishes pug chaos far more than normal floors.

Progression path

Climb M1 → M3 to learn the damage jump, farm master stars to upgrade gear, then push M5/M6 before settling into M7 farming — which is where the real loot (Handles, scrolls, Dark Claymore) lives.
