Fishing progression is a rod ladder plus one stat that matters above all: Sea Creature Chance (SCC). Every upgrade should be judged by how it moves SCC and catch quality.
The rod ladder
- Early rods from fishing collections — anything that lets you fish continuously.
- Rod of the Sea — the water-fishing standard; a long-term rod worth enchanting properly.
- Lava rods — required for the Crimson Isle; even Kuudra runs carry a lava rod for the supply phase.
The stats that matter
- Sea Creature Chance — armor, equipment, pets and enchants that add SCC are the money stat.
- Fishing Speed — more casts per hour multiplies everything.
- Magic Find on top for rare creature drops.

- A rod you will keep (enchants are the real cost).
- SCC armor pieces for your level.
