Zombie Slayer is the classic first slayer: cheap to start, forgiving to fight, and its rewards stay relevant deep into the game — Revenant slayer 8 is required to wear the Warden Helmet used in Blaze Slayer setups.

Why it stays relevant

• Rev 8 → Warden Helmet — a core Blaze Slayer item; this alone justifies pushing high Revenant levels.
• Drops: Revenant Viscera and foul flesh sell steadily; Overflux Capacitor (T4) and the Warden Heart (T5) are the big RNG paydays — check live prices, both move.
• Slayer XP here is the cheapest combat progression available early.

Leveling efficiently

• Fight tiers you can kill FAST — boss kill speed beats boss tier for XP/hour until your damage is high.
• A Reaper-line weapon path (or simply your best sword early) covers this slayer; it is not gear-picky like Blaze.
• Use the RNG Meter from T4 onward pointed at the Overflux Capacitor or Warden Heart.
