Mining Gear Progression: Pickaxe to Divan

Mining has SkyBlock's cleanest progression ladder. Here it is end to end.

Getting started

Golden/promising pickaxe → level Mining on Desert sand → Gold Mine → Deep Caverns to the obsidian layer → hand the NPC 15-30 enchanted ore to unlock the Dwarven Mines lift. Buy the Fractured Mithril Pickaxe from Boo Boo (10k) and unlock Commissions from the King.

Drill line

Fractured Mithril → Mithril Drill SXR226 → SXR326 → (HOTM 7) Titanium DRX355 → 455 → 555 → 655 → Divan's Drill (best, ~1.7B). Parts: engine up to Amber-polished, tank up to Perfectly-Cut, and eventually a Blue Cheese Goblin Omelette. Enchants: Efficiency, Fortune, Compact, Lapidary, Prismatic, Paleontologist, Flow State ultimate; add up to 5 Polarvoid books and later Divan's Powder Coating. Reforges: Petrified Star early → Dwarven Geode on Titanium → Gleaming Crystal endgame.

Armor and equipment

• Armor: Glacite → Sorrow (HOTM 5) → Divan's (HOTM 6; forge 20 gemstone chambers). Skip Yog. Reforge Titanium Tessellation until Divan, then Jaded.
• Equipment: Mithril set → Titanium (HOTM 3) → Dwarven Handwarmers (HOTM 8) → Pendant of Divan (HOTM 10).

Pets

Silverfish early (mining wisdom), Mithril Golem for Mithril, Scatha for gemstones and best overall, Glacite Golem for the tunnels, plus a Legendary Bal for ability cooldown via the auto-pet swap trick. Pet item: Bejeweled Collar, or Quick Claw at the top end.

Powder targets

~9M Mithril / 12M Gemstone / 12M Glacite powder covers the important perks (12.5M/20M/20M for max SkyBlock XP). Remember: powder is progression, not money.
